What are your favorite subjects to tattoo / what would you like to do more of?
My favorite subjects to tattoo are objects that are chrome or leather. I feel like they pop off the skin. I’m working in mostly black and grey but I’m enjoying experimenting with more color.
How did you start tattooing and what drove you to pursuit?
I’m self taught and accidentally found myself doing tattoos. I started with hand pokes on myself and friends. I really enjoyed doing it and once I started feeling comfortable charging people it was a great way to always have a job when I was home between tours with my band Omni.
How can people book a tattoo with you and do you have a (semi) permanent location?
I built a shop next to my house in Atlanta called Temporary Tattoo. I tattoo there with three very talented women, Isabella Corwell, Rebecca Kidd and Bianca Acosta. People can book with me through my shops website (when my books are open) www.temporarytattoooo.com/.
What are 3 small things that make you happy?
puppies, white wine, cuddling when it’s cold outside.
If there is something you could change in the tattoo industry what would it be?
I wish tattooers weren’t such gate keepers about information regarding tattooing. There would be a lot less bad tattoos floating around the world if more information was accessible.
